Chuck E. Cheese. This place has a special place in my heart because my Grandpa would always take my older sister to this exact Chuck E. Cheese when we were younger. We became masterminds of the games we loved and would just play then and earn a plethora of tickets. We would frequently run over to my grandpa who would always be holding down our booth seat that was always stocked with pizza and icees and go “Grandpa, we need more tokens!”. He happily got us more tokens and we would continue to win tickets like it was our jobs. Let’s hope we never go to a casino together or he might get a call going “Grandpa we need more money!”

Onto the photo backstory. I would never in a million years think that Chuck E. Cheese would make for coronavirus themed photos but here they are! Driving past I saw bright green signs outside that I just couldn’t drive by without reading. Figures out the district manager of this Chuck. E Cheese, Hashem Saadat, wanted to keep the doors open so that he would give his employees a couple of hours of work. I found this to be incredibly admirable especially at a place that you would never think would remain open during a pandemic. Hashem and his senior manager Jose were incredibly kind to me. Hashem was thrilled to show me behind the scenes secrets including the Chuck E. Cheese costume. You could tell by the smile on his face he was extremely passionate and caring towards his job. Jose was amazing to meet as well. He is 20 years old and the senior manager. He works hard so that he can give back to his parents who were immigrants and worked extremely hard during his childhood. His main takeaway is that everything he learned from them and what he does for himself makes him humble. “As long as I stay humble I will be ok.”.
